Chelsea manager José Mourinho has been named as Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations World Food Programme, and aims to raise awareness about the WFP's life-saving work and champion the Zero Hunger Challenge.
Mourinho's wife Matilde has also been appointed as WFP Special Ambassador for school feeding, and he commented 'If we can harness the spirit and the will to address the nutritional needs of the poor, then we have a real chance of ending hunger in our lifetimes'.
